#5 artist AZUSA IIDA

Our new interview series, "Around eit swim: People We Love", features those who support and inspire us. We’re sharing real voices from the people who wear and love eit swim.

For #5, we speak with artist Azusa Iida. Her work captivates at first glance with its bold use of color and composition, a strong sense of fashion, and an intriguing ambiguity—while centered on the human figure, it carries an almost abstract quality. Alongside her exhibition work, she collaborates with various companies, brands, and media, creating visuals as well as product designs.

Height: 165cm / eit swim size: M / Wearing: High Neck Short Swim Tank Plant Marble (2026)

–Since you started wearing eit swim, has anything changed in your daily life or mindset?
I’ve always loved the ocean, but I could never really find a swimsuit that felt right for me.
So discovering eit swim—which feels like a natural extension of the fashion I already love—made me really happy. It’s made me look forward to summer so much more.

–Which pieces did you purchase in 2026? How are you planning to style them?
I chose 【High Neck Short Swim Tank Plant Marble】and 【Reversible Super High Bottom Plant Marble × Black】.
I picked this Plant series because I thought it would pair really well with the blue denim I wear all the time. A blue-toned gradient look feels perfect under the summer sun—it just lifts my mood.

–How do you perceive eit swim as a brand?
I see it as a brand that uses environmentally conscious materials and creates swimwear you can wear seamlessly from the city to the ocean.
I love the elegance of the cuts that don’t reveal too much skin, the perfectly balanced length, and the subtle retro touches in the design. The fit is also something I really appreciate.
