#2 brand designer EMINA MATSUO
“Around eit swim: People We Love” is a Q&A series featuring people who love and wear eit swim.
In this series, we speak with some of the wonderful people who support us and surround our brand.
Our second guest is Emina Matsuo, who has long been a designer at SeaRoomlynn.
A true lover of summer, she brings eit swim with her to the ocean every year.
Her cultivated sensibility as a designer and her effortless, relaxed styling reflect a natural, understated beauty that defines her charm.
Height: 5'3" (160cm) / eit swim size: M or L / Wearing: Back Round Swim Tank (2025)
– What is your favorite eit swim item, and why?
Item: Covered Swim Camisole
Reason: I love the longer length that gently covers the body line. I personally prefer not to show my midsection, so this length allows me to pair it beautifully even with lower-rise bottoms.
Item: Back Round Swim Tank
Reason: It has become a daily essential for me. I love how versatile it is—easy to wear from the city to the beach in just one piece. The fabric quality feels elevated beyond typical swimwear, which makes it one of my favorites.
– Do you have any tips for styling eit swim?
I always think about the balance between coverage and exposure. I make it a personal rule to create a sense of openness in areas like the décolletage, shoulders, or back.
– Are there any go-to items you like to pair with eit swim?
I don’t have a specific go-to item—I like to style it freely depending on my mood that day. From monochrome to color and prints, it pairs beautifully with anything, which I really appreciate.
– What do you value when choosing swimwear?
Of course, fabric and sizing are important, but I especially value comfort. Personally, padding is also an important point—I’m not a fan of built-in pads, so I look for pieces that still shape the body beautifully without them.
– What items did you purchase for 2026, and how would you like to style them?
I purchased the 【♻︎ Mini Wrap Top black】. I’m expecting a baby soon, so I chose it because I heard it can also be worn during the nursing period. I’m not sure if I’ll make it to the beach this season, but it looks very comfortable, so I’m hoping to enjoy it as an everyday inner layer during summer as well.
